"Digressions, incontestably, are the sunshine;—they are the life, the soul of reading!—take them out of this book, for instance,—you might as well take the book along with them." ("Tristram Shandy", Laurence Sterne) and "Anyone can do any amount of work provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at the moment." (Robert Benchley)...come to mind when thinking about your post. Congratulations on all your success. Meg!

to the Prince song “Rasberry Beret” I found listening to Around the World in a Day opened me up to my own body. The first time I had sex with a woman, we were watching the film the Entity. A film where Barbara Hershey gets raped by a poltergeist. It’s a true story. Teresa and I were caught kissing by her little brother Chuck. He did tell on us. Her mom made my life hell at high school. And she called my mother. It was a nightmare. Though I actually made out with my friend Leslie where she kissed me, and I almost fainted in her arms. I had sex that night with a guy named Skeeter.
