to the Prince song “Rasberry Beret” I found listening to Around the World in a Day opened me up to my own body. The first time I had sex with a woman, we were watching the film the Entity. A film where Barbara Hershey gets raped by a poltergeist. It’s a true story. Teresa and I were caught kissing by her little brother Chuck. He did tell on us. Her mom made my life hell at high school. And she called my mother. It was a nightmare. Though I actually made out with my friend Leslie where she kissed me, and I almost fainted in her arms. I had sex that night with a guy named Skeeter.
