Writing Memorable Older Characters: Flash Fiction Workshop: August 25th-27th

Busting through Stereotypes with Powerful, Quirky Storytelling

In this 3-day session, we’ll be be writing stories featuring quirky and luminous older characters who are anything but invisible, creating characters we root for, who defy ageism and stereotyping. Because our society values youth so blatantly, writing interesting older characters is important. In this unique workshop, we’ll be creating flash fiction (up to 450 words) inspired by both story samples and original prompts. Writers of all levels welcome. My workshops are online and asynchronous, and made to be easy for those with busy schedules. Groups are small and nurturing. They are held in a private Facebook group.
