I’ve written many pieces inspired by music. Music is a a most potent and powerful prompt.. For one thing, it automatically taps into our emotions. For another thing, it can easily bring back an earlier time in our lives.. and present us with instant time travel. These are special pieces to me because they come so directly from songs I have deeply loved.
