Trapped in the Narrative Sand
A story told from various perspectives, in sections
Maybe you have a story that feels a bit limited, static or stuck. If so, you may want to experiment as I did with my story, Sandtrap, which started out as fairly simple and vignette-ish, but (happily) ended up as something longer and deeper.
I’d like to talk about deepening a story by rewriting the same story using different (and unusual or slanted) perspectives and then, linking them together.
As a model, please read my story “Sandtrap” in New World Writing.
