Animals make life more interesting and often, more meaningful. Maybe this is why stories with animals in them have a special magic to them. Here we’ll be writing stories in which a pet or animal encounter adds a significant presence. For an example of what an animal can do to a story, please enjoy my tiny story, Alligators At Night (Atticus Review).
In this workshop participants will try their hands at the challenging micro-story constraint (up to 250 words) and focus on stories with animals in them. There will be helpful, constructive feedback on every story. The workshop will be held in a private Facebook group. Cost for the workshop is $110 per student.
