Childless Cat (& Dog) Person Stories: A Microfiction Workshop with Meg Pokrass
Time to get writing some rebellious, hilarious, angry, & highly creative microfiction…
August 31st - Sept 2nd!
Here is the chance to write witty/angry/fiery stories in a group of like-minded, animal loving, non-conforming writers—and to enjoy the warm sense of community around it. We’ll be writing stories about unique, non-conforming characters.. and making the best of this fraught time by engaging our creativity.
Please know that actually being a “childless animal owner” is not at all a requirement for taking the workshop.. :) Having the desire to write about unique individuals who love and care about animals IS the only requirement.
The workshop will be held in a private Facebook group, participants will be creating 3 total stories (300 words or less) and sharing them with a group of welcoming writers.
The workshop will be held asynchronously. I will offer feedback on every story, and others in the group will be encouraged to offer feedback as well. There are no live zoom meetings to attend, nothing time-specific, it is all conducted in a private Facebook group when convenient for each participant.
